Kia America has partnered with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) to support freshwater conservation across the United States. Over the next three years, Kia will "invest $3 million to help TNC protect 1 million kilometers of rivers and 30 million hectares of lakes, wetlands, and floodplains by 2030." The program officially launches on World Water Day (March 22, 2025) and aims to raise awareness about the importance of freshwater ecosystems.

Kia’s support will help restore wetlands, improve water quality, and protect wildlife habitats. The initiative will also work with Indigenous and local communities to create healthier ecosystems. Key projects include "modernizing water systems, using natural solutions to prevent flooding, and promoting sustainable farming practices." Overall, this partnership reflects Kia’s dedication to environmental responsibility and giving back to the communities it serves.
