The Interbranch Association for Fresh French Fruit and Vegetables is set to introduce Mumbai to a curated selection of premium French apple varieties. This endeavor brings globally renowned favorites like Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Royal Gala, and Granny Smith alongside the rare and seasonal Kissabel.

These apples offer superior taste and quality while showcasing the sustainable farming practices behind their cultivation. French growers employ precision irrigation techniques and eco-friendly pest management strategies to minimize environmental impact while maintaining exceptional standards.

The initiative was celebrated with a culinary showcase, spotlighting these apples' versatility in traditional and modern dishes. Highlights included a refreshing Chilled Apple Salad and the indulgent Royal Gala Cranberry Galette, demonstrating how these fruits can elevate various recipes.

The new apples are set to launch across major Indian grocery chains in the coming months.
