Eco-Friendly Snowboard Bindings

Union and Envalior partner to present asymmetric snowboard bindings that utilize Envalior's 'Durethan Blue,' an eco-friendly nylon, making it Union Binding Company's most sustainable snowboard binding to date. Specifically, Durethan Blue is "made from 90% sustainable raw materials, including bio-based and recycled content; it follows a mass balance approach and is certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS program, which ensures sustainability and traceability throughout its production."

In addition to its eco-friendly composition, Durethan Blue offers key benefits, such as high flow properties and heat stability. Furthermore, it has passed Union Binding Company's rigorous internal quality checks for "strength, cold temperature durability, and overall product lifespan." This collaboration highlights Union's commitment to sustainability while maintaining the high-performance standards required for snowboard bindings.
