The brand-new Nivea Men Climate Care Moisturizer is the world's first skincare product to use an ingredient obtained from recycled carbon dioxide. Thanks to a carbon dioxide recycling technology that collects industrial emissions, carbon dioxide is collected, diverted to a bioreactor, then fermented and processed into cosmetic ethanol. Notably, the Nivea Men Climate Care Moisturizer contains a total of 14% ethanol that has been obtained through alternative methods.

As a whole, the formula is completely free from microplastics, silicones, mineral oils and more. Additionally, the skincare product for men is made with electricity from 100% renewable sources and it is climate-neutralized. The product, which boasts a 99% biodegradable formula, is packaged in a fully recyclable container. This innovative skincare product is being introduced to the world as a limited-edition release in Germany as of June 2022.
