Carbon-Reducing Cheddar Cheeses

Ivy's Reserve is the First-of-Its-Kind Cheese

Ivy's Reserve distinguishes itself as the world's first carbon-neutral cheddar cheese and it's a sustainable option that comes from a dairy farm with what the brand calls "the most sustainable way possible." The carbon-neutral branded cheddar is matured for a period of 18 months under wood, which gives the product a flavor profile that is described as sweet, nutty and complex.

The first cheddar cheese in the world to be certified carbon neutral was made possible thanks to regenerative farming practices, reduced emissions and devotion to a sustainability plan that spans animal feed and land management to energy use. Waste is also considered throughout the process, from packaging to heat recovery and water reuse where possible. Ultimately, the brand is aiming to achieve Net Positive production.
