The 'CArrelé' Bioceramic Tiles Have an Elegant Yet Eco Aesthetic

The 'CArrelé' bioceramic tiles have been created in collaboration between Elaine Yan Ling Ng and Nature Squared as a high-performance building material that makes use of an unlikely material. The tiles are crafted with eggshells that have been blended with binding agents to make them a durable material with a decidedly chic appearance. The tiles make use of the hundreds of thousands of tons of eggshells that are produced each year on a worldwide basis and provide inspiration for what can be done with our waste materials.
The 'CArrelé' bioceramic tiles call to mind the elegance of terrazzo tiles and are capable of being paired with a variety of different coloring agents to achieve a wide range of looks.
