Inclusive Made to Order Dresses
'Almost There' Offers Its Sustainable Designs in Sizes XS to 5XL
Riley von Niessen — September 2, 2020'Almost There' is an LA- based fashion label that currently offers 10 different dress styles, which are made to order in a family-owned factory in California to prevent excess waste and to ensure the best fit for its consumers.
The dresses are available in sizes XS to 5XL, and are made with natural fabrics that are sourced from renewable resources. Additionally, Almost There utilizes deadstock fabric for its designs, which it describes as "excess fabric created by other fashion houses" that it purchases to prevent it from going into a landfill. Apart from these factors, the brand stays true to its sustainable mindset by using eco-friendly dying processes where possible, and packaging that's recyclable and biodegradable.
Almost There's CEO spoke to the designs by stating, "I wanted to create dresses that you could wear for the rest of your life and still look chic and stylish. We didn't really want to go for over-the-top, too-trendy pieces.... They're done in a way where they're not necessarily tied to a time period."
