Designer Paul Crofts works together with furniture imprint Isomi to create the sustainable Tejo system. The recyclable system of sofas are made from natural cork and latex which is launching at Clerkenwell Design Week. The Tejo system uses the aforementioned cork as the base foundation and backrest of the furniture which replaces what is usually plywood or metal as the frame.

The latex wraps in wool wadding to function as the filling instead of foam. Crofts tells Dezeen, "The design was constantly evolving throughout the process. We were continually trying to find the balance between structural integrity and minimal use of material, softening edges to protect corners, changing depths to improve material yield or designing in tolerance for movement during the production process."
