STG Aerospace has introduced the world’s first sustainable emergency floor path marking system. The new system, named ‘saf-Tglo eco E1,’ offers an environmentally friendly alternative to the company's existing ‘saf-Tglo SSUL-X11’ cabin illumination system.

The ‘saf-Tglo eco E1’ system distinguishes itself using recycled materials. Specifically, the plastic insert is manufactured with 80% post-consumer recycled waste, and the track comprises 50% recycled polycarbonate. The system is also designed to be free of 'forever plastics.' The inclusion of a new biodegradable additive ensures that the track will decompose at the end of its lifecycle. Moreover, the photoluminescent inserts in the eco E1 system are made with 100% water-based resin.

This sustainable launch reflects STG Aerospace's dedication to reducing environmental impact while providing high-quality, reliable safety solutions for the aerospace industry.
