NVIDIA Unveils its RTX 5090 FE Packaging with Sustainable Paper Fibers

The unboxing embargo for the highly anticipated NVIDIA RTX 5090 Founders Edition has officially lifted, and it’s clear that the company is taking steps toward sustainability with this release.
One of the most striking changes is the packaging, which boasts a 50% size reduction compared to the previous generation. The unboxing experience starts with a tear tape at the bottom of the outer box, which, when removed, reveals the tagline: "Inspired by Gamers. Enhanced by AI. Built by NVIDIA."
The shipping carton reveals a uniquely shaped, bone-inspired box finished in a sophisticated Lunar Stone color. This houses the GPU and showcases a clean, inkless design. Beneath the GPU, you’ll find a compact accessory package containing a 16-pin to 4x8-pin power connector.
