Metsä Board is making strides in sustainability by teaming up with industry leaders to revamp ice cream cone packaging for a greener impact. This eco-friendly makeover took a comprehensive approach, examining everything from how the materials are made to the final delivery, all with a goal of being kinder to the environment.

The team, consisting of experts in design, printing, and packaging, found ways to enhance traditional frozen food packaging, which usually relies on recycled materials and specific printing techniques.

Metsä Board's Sustainability Services crunched the numbers and discovered that the new packaging boasts up to a 36% reduction in climate impact compared to the traditional chipboard commonly used. This sustainable approach showcases a commitment to making frozen food packaging greener and more environmentally friendly.
