Sustainability-Based Student Initiatives

SOLV Energy, a nationwide renewable energy solutions provider, is accepting applications for the '2025 PowerUp! Renewable Energy Scholarship.' In its third year, the scholarship will "award $1,500 to six high school seniors across the U.S. Applicants must demonstrate a passion for sustainability and describe how their education will help them pursue a career in clean energy."

The selection process will be managed in partnership with professionals from Arevon, Groundwork Renewables, and Nextracker. In addition to the scholarship, SOLV Energy works with "local leaders, school districts, and landowners to increase access to clean energy resources and STEAM education for K-12 students."

As part of its commitment to diversity, one of the scholarships will be specifically reserved for an Indigenous high school senior, supporting SOLV Energy’s efforts to increase representation and visibility for Native communities in the renewable energy sector.
