Italian studio AMDL Circle works together with interdisciplinary design brand Iart to create the Novartis Pavilion, which is located in Basel, Switzerland. It is wrapped in a media facade which is developed to be energy-neutral. It can be found by the Rhine at the Novartis healthcare company's campus.

Founder of Iart, Valentin Spiess tells Dezeen, "With this project, we want to show that a media facade not only consumes electricity but can also generate it itself." The studio chose organic solar modules instead of silicone-based counterparts to create a more sustainable approach. He continues, "They require less grey energy in production and need little light to start generating electricity. They can be used in areas where light conditions are not ideal, such as a facade."
