ProAmpac developed a flexible tea bag pouch in collaboration with Metropolitan Tea that is made with 100% home and industrial compostable materials. The ProActive Compostable packaging design was created to supports the needs of packaging luxury bulk tea without compromising on factors like barrier properties, graphics and filling line speed.
The tea bag pouch is made from home and industrial compostable films and adhesive, plus it has a structure that helps to preserve product freshness. As well as being appealing for its use of materials, the tea pouch packaging design can be printed in a variety of ways to create dynamic designs using 10 colors of HD flexographic ink. Thanks to its eye-catching design, the compostable packaging solution sets itself apart from others that look plain and all-natural.
