Charitable Bridal Initiatives

Azazie partnered with the non-profit Green Education Foundation to support the fashion industry's slow transition to sustainability. The direct-to-consumer bridal and special occasion dress brand is taking on a green initiative to show its commitment to the environment ahead of earth-themed celebrations.

The fashion brand will donate its unused dressed and accessories to the organization's Closed Loop Recycling Program. This initiative will reduce the carbon footprint and energy necessary to produce the item. According to Jeff Cardoso, VP of Operations for Azazie, the brand can close the loop on its product's lifecycle -- "dresses not in reusable conditions to donate are recycled, helping us reduce waste and our carbon footprint." Moreover, the non-profit reclaims 100% of the clothing fibers donated.
