Eco-Focused Retailer Products

The SuperValu eco-friendly products have been announced hot on the heels of the brands compostable shopping bags and aims to deliver consumers with an alternative to conventional options presently on the market. The range of products includes reusable bamboo towels, reusable organic cotton Terry cleansing pads and Bee's Wrap reusable food storage. The Ecover range within the lineup will offer dishwasher tablets, dish soap and multi-surface spray.

Managing Director of SuperValue Martin Kelleher spoke on the new eco-friendly products saying, "We are committed to providing our customers with more sustainable choices. We recognise that this is important to our customers and for the environment. We will continue working to reduce and eliminate plastic where possible giving our customers more and more sustainable choices.”

The product range includes a 65 products in total and will be trialled at 12 store locations across Ireland.
