TwentyFifty is a Compostable Utensil Made Only of Natural Grains
Laura McQuarrie — June 10, 2020References: newhope & twentyfiftyfork
TwentyFifty is a first-of-its-kind compostable spoon that's made entirely from natural grains, offering a much more sustainable alternative to single-use plastic utensils. Thanks to their unique composition, the spoons have the potential to be added to a home compost system so that they can break down in a matter of 30 days—or less.
As the compostable spoons are made with 100% natural corn, soy and wheat, TwentyFifty also notes that the eco-friendly utensils are "essentially edible." The spoons are sold in sets of 12 and offer a much more earth-friendly way to enjoy a variety of snacks and meals. To suit different kinds of food, TwentyFifty also offers compostable forks with the same composition.
