hernest project has always made a point to emphasize the importance of sustainable production and the zero-waste scrunchie is no exception (as the name probably suggests to you already). The chic, minimalist hair accessory is made out of 100% post-production items. More specifically, the brand upcycled old prototypes, leftover sample fabric, unsellable customer returns, and production failures. In addition to this, hernest project also included an eco-conscious elastic as well, made out of Organic Cotton and Natural Rubber which makes it 100% biodegradable.
