There's no doubt that Keurig and other pod-based coffee machines are far more convenient than making a coffee by any other method, but Tayst Coffee is looking to address one of the unintended consequences of pods' popularity. The roaster offers completely compostable coffee pods that work with Keurig machines, reducing the amount of waste that people create when they use most other coffee pods.

A single coffee mod might not seem like much waste, but over time those pods add up. The impact of coffee pods on the environment has been well documented, and Tayst Coffee figured that it could find a way to get rid of that waste without abandoning the convenience of coffee pods.
