Coffee pods prioritize convenience but have come into question regarding sustainability, which is seeing brands respond with new products like the Peace Coffee Compostable EcoPods.

The single-serve coffee pods are crafted with a plant-based material to make them 100% biodegradable after use for disposal through industrial compost facilities. Designed for use with Keurig machines, the coffee pods come in two blend options including Birchwood and Tree Hugger, which are both reported to maintain the flavor of the original with no change due to the new pod design. The pods come in 12 packs priced at $14.99.
