L’Oréal's Net Zero Salons Programme was launched to support hair salons in the UK and Ireland that want to reduce their carbon emissions and work towards becoming net zero businesses. With the aid of Net Zero Now, L’Oréal offers solutions to assist with everything from calculating and tracking to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

It's said that the average appointment produces an estimated 3.1 kilograms of greenhouse gas emissions and with this initiative, L’Oréal is empowering its salon partners to adopt more sustainable practices. Sustainably minded salons that sign up for the Net Zero Salons Programme will be supported with a tailored plan that will help to reduce the kilograms of greenhouse gas emissions generated per appointment.
