Huhtamaki is an expert in food packaging based in Finland and it recently unveiled a new approach of encouraging proper recycling habits through paper cup prints. The brand designed a new selection of specialty cups including paper vending cups and single wall hot cups.
These will feature a special message that reads "please recycle this cup" to give direct instructions to consumers. It will also incorporate a special QR code for customers to scan using their phones that leads directly to a webpage that contains a series of information about cup recycling areas and schemes spanning across the UK. This website is also an approach of bridging closer connectivity between the brand and its consumers.
