Italian design house Bertone offers a sustainable solution when it comes to automobile design with the new GB110 supercar, which is launched to celebrate its 110th anniversary. It boasts an impressive 1,100 horse power and has 1,100 Nm of torque. The most notable element of the car is the renewable diesel that is made up of materials including BOPAS that were once collected in waterways and refuse disposal areas.

The car has an angular design language and an artful look overall and to develop sustainable fuel, the house works with Select Fuel. Select Fuel is a company that is dedicated to transforming polluting polycarbonate materials into renewable fuel. Bertone CEO Jean-Frank Ricci notes that “Plastic waste needs to be treated as a valuable resource. Through our partnership with Select Fuel, we take what was once waste and convert it back into its original form.”
