Porsche introduces the first hybrid 911 car which honors the milestone that is the 61st year of the iconic car -- the 2025 Carrera GTS is packed with performance hybrid drive. It highlights the moment that the German brand balances performance with electric design.
Vice President of Model Line 911 and 718, Frank Moser speaks about his excitement for the innovation, stating “For the first time in our icon’s 61-year history, we are installing a hybrid drive system in a roadgoing 911. This innovative performance hybrid makes the 911 even more dynamic.” The process was tested and experimented with in Dubai to ensure that it would be able to undergo extreme climates by engineers and test drivers.
