Biodegradable Nail Polishes

Growing environmental consciousness and a desire for sustainable alternatives are some of the factors that are driving environmentally conscious beauty consumers to purchase biodegradable nail polish products. Dr. Ryohei Mori at Green Science Alliance Co. developed an all-natural, water-based biodegradable nail polish brand by the name of Re:soil with products that will return to the earth.

Rather than using petroleum in its product, the brand opted to work with color pigmented derived from inorganic materials or stone-based materials. This natural nail polish collection is safe for beauty lovers of all ages and it adds a pop of color to nails in a rainbow of shades, plus white and black from bamboo charcoal and biochar.

To go with its biodegradable nail polish, the brand also created a 100% natural nail polish remover.
