The Whyte Kado is a newly introduced electric mountain bike (eMTB) designed to offer a balance of performance and affordability. It features a low center of gravity, achieved by tilting the motor and positioning the battery closer to the bottom bracket. This design enhances agility and handling, making the bike suitable for trail and enduro riding. The Kado is equipped with Bosch's fifth-generation Performance Line CX motor, delivering 600W peak power and 85Nm of torque. Depending on the model, it comes with either a 600Wh or 800Wh Bosch PowerTube battery, with compatibility for an additional 250Wh range extender. The bike's frame options include full carbon, carbon/aluminum, or aluminum, and it provides 150mm of rear travel paired with a 160mm fork.

The Kado's design incorporates practical features such as fully sleeved internal cable routing, chainstay and down tube guards, and compatibility with both coil and air shocks. It is equipped with 29-inch wheels but can be converted to a mixed-wheel setup using Whyte's "Shape. It" links. The bike also accommodates water bottles across all frame sizes and offers dropper posts with varying lengths based on frame size. The Kado is available in multiple models, including the S, RS, and RSX, each with distinct specifications and price points. These models cater to a range of riders, from those seeking entry-level options to those looking for high-performance components.
