Waxwing Yarn Company is a new Guelph-based business owned and operated by Christine Laframboise. This small business is known for its sustainable yarn quantities, providing consumers with adequate material for their knitting and yarn fiber art projects without concern about excess.

Waxwing currently offers 20 yarn colors in 25 and 100-gram sizes, allowing consumers to accurately measure how much will be used. The brand also offers pre-bundled kits for specific patterns and color blends, saving consumers time and money.

“I'm really trying to be as inclusive as possible, because I think that any sort of craft where you're working with your hands is a really welcome pause and slowness in the day that I think a lot of people need," said Laframboise.

Waxwing Yarn Company sells online through its website and will also stock its goods at Laframboise's trunk show on February 8 at Woolwich Fine Yarns.
