Turbo Energy Uses an EaaS Model to Make Energy Sustainable
Colin Smith — March 20, 2025Turbo Energy, a global provider of solar energy storage technologies, has introduced its Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) model as part of its expansion into Latin America. This initiative is spearheaded by Turbo Energy Solutions (TES), a subsidiary established to deliver advanced solar energy solutions for commercial and industrial clients in Chile. The EaaS model enables customers to adopt solar energy systems without significant upfront costs, offering a financing structure that aligns with sustainable energy goals. The debut project under this model involved the installation of the SUNBOX Industry smart energy storage system at the Alto Labranza Shopping Center in Temuco, Chile. This system successfully operated during a nationwide blackout, demonstrating the reliability and effectiveness of Turbo Energy's technology.
The EaaS model is designed to optimize energy supply through AI-powered management systems, providing customers with efficient and sustainable energy solutions. By integrating solar generation, storage, and intelligent energy management, Turbo Energy aims to address the growing demand for renewable energy in the region. The initiative also represents a strategic move to establish a recurring revenue stream while promoting the adoption of clean energy technologies. Through its innovative approach, Turbo Energy is contributing to the transition toward a more sustainable energy landscape in Latin America.
