Ranpak GrasiKraft is a new paper void fill crafted with sustainability in mind to work effectively for shipping scenarios as a way to reduce reliance on plastic alternatives. The solution, created through a partnership with Creapaper, is crafted from sustainably harvested grass fibers along with recycled paper. The result is a packaging solution that requires reduced water usage in its manufacturing process, while the grass used is gown on agricultural land margins to make use of otherwise underutilized land.

Chairman and CEO Omar Asali spoke on the Ranpak GrasiKraft saying, "We are thrilled to add GrasiKraft paper to our product offering. As our first commercially available paper material that uses grass as a fibre source, this milestone is an important step as Ranpak continues to evaluate the most sustainable materials possible. We believe that single-use packaging should be recyclable and come from renewable resources to protect our world for future generations, and the renewable qualities of grass as a material make it a perfect fit."
