Pre-Owned Luxury Fashion Runways

CMMN SWDN Tests the Boundaries of High Fashion on the Runway

CMMN SWDN debuts its Fall/Winter 2019 collection, with an emphasis on pre-owned luxury fashion. The inspiration is quite unconventional for a streetwear runway show, however, the designers choose to test the boundaries of the industry. The catwalk is populated by deconstructed silhouettes that hammer on the avant-garde and the grotesque.

For Fall/Winter 2019, the label begins to dissect "digital complexity" and postmodern society, with a focus on consumer behavior. The pre-owned luxury fashion aesthetic is reached through embracing "damaged silhouettes that are reinterpreted through tailoring in various proportions." The eclectic presentation of materials and textures makes the relationship between pre-loved and new clothing ensembles quite potent, however, it also instills an artistic quality to the luxe fashion offerings.
