VOGA Italia Has Redesigned Its Pinot Grigio Packaging

VOGA Italia reimagines its Pinot Grigio packaging, incorporating strategic environmental and practical improvements. The new design introduced a 20% lighter glass bottle and replaces synthetic cork with a resealable screw cap. The weight reduction of the new Pinot Grigio packaging is expected to decrease emissions significantly. VOGA Italia estimates its bottle redesign to cut three pounds per case and 172 pounds per pallet. The new closure system, on the other hand, enhances convenience for casual drinkers by simplifying opening and preserving freshness between pours.
The wine itself is a fruit-forward Pinot Grigio from Italy's Delle Venezie DOC region. Thanks to the thoughtful packaging innovation, it is expected to retain its rich flavor profile of pear, peach, and citrus notes.
This sustainability initiative aligns with VOGA Italia's participation in Italy's VIVA certification program for eco-conscious viticulture.
