MONC is breaking boundaries in the eyewear industry by creating sunglasses and spectacles with a focus on sustainability without disrupting the quality or style. All of the looks are designed in London by its founder Freddie Elborne before they go through a carefully handcrafted process in Northern Italy.

The latest effort to come from the progressive brand is an alternative packaging option. Elborne embarked on the mission of creating packaging that would not require harmful polystyrene as protection. He works with fungi in collaboration with the Caley brothers to create sustainable casings. The new launch aligns with MONC's core values, bringing consciousness, durability, and circularity to the forefront. All of the casings are biodegradable as it is made from mycelium.
