Recyclable Sustainably-Designed Bottles

JREwater, developed by JRE-Slovenija in collaboration with Hrastnik 1860 Design Studio, is an eco-friendly and sustainable product designed to raise awareness about the importance of clean drinking water. The bottle is made from high-quality glass, which can be completely recycled and reused without compromising its quality. This initiative aims to eliminate single-use plastics and promote the reuse of glass in fine dining restaurants. The JREwater bottle has been recognized for its exceptional design, receiving the 2023 Good Design Award from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.

The unique design of the JREwater bottle features a punt, which creates an optical illusion and visual effect that reflects the purity and reflection of the water. This design element not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the bottle but also emphasizes the quality, purity, and safety of the water it contains. The shimmering effect caused by the punt when the bottle is moved mimics the natural movement of water, adding to its visual impact and reinforcing the message of sustainability and environmental responsibility
