Five Star's New Food Packaging is Biodegradable and FSC-Certified

Five Star is revamping its policies to be more eco-friendly with the launch of its sustainable packaging, now certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The company has replaced plastic bucket lids with biodegradable paper alternatives as part of the switch.

In addition to the packaging overhaul, Five Star has joined the "No Refry" campaign, a collaborative effort with Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited (BSGF) and Thailand’s Department of Health. This initiative hopes to encourage businesses to reduce cooking oil reuse, offering them the option to sell it for conversion into sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), contributing to a more eco-conscious future.

The brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility will also extend to its STAR Coffee line, making all cups 100% biodegradable.
