Big Agnes' 'HyperBead' is setting a new standard for sustainable outdoor gear with the launch of its eco-friendly, ultralight tent fabric. Designed to enhance performance while minimizing environmental impact, HyperBead is debuting in some of the brand’s most popular tents, including the 'Fly Creek HV UL2.' The innovative material is 6% lighter than previous fabrics and offers 25% more waterproofing, ensuring durability in harsh outdoor conditions without the need for chemical-laden treatments.

Unlike many traditional tent fabrics, it is made without intentionally added PFAS, commonly known as 'forever chemicals.' These chemicals are often used in waterproof coatings but have been linked to environmental and health concerns. By eliminating them, Big Agnes continues its mission to create high-performance gear that aligns with eco-conscious values.

Big Agnes will roll out HyperBead across its 'Copper Spur UL,' 'Tiger Wall UL,' 'Platinum,' and 'Fly Creek UL' tents later this year. By combining lighter weight, superior waterproofing, and sustainable materials, the brand ensures that adventurers no longer have to choose between high-performance camping gear and environmental responsibility.
