Colgate's Manual Brushes with Snap-On Heads Minimize Toothbrush Waste

In the same way that it's easy to replace an electric toothbrush head, Colgate is applying the same concept to manual brushes to minimize toothbrush waste. The new manual toothbrush is a first-of-its-kind from the brand and it boasts "a replaceable head for 80% less plastic waste."
The brand estimates that more than 495 million adult manual toothbrushes were purchased in the United States in 2020 and most will end up in the landfill. Colgate Keep features a snap-on replaceable brush head and a reusable aluminum handle so that people can choose a simple way to reduce household waste. With Colgate Keep, two bristle varieties are available: Deep Clean with Floss-Tip bristles and Whitening with spiral polishing bristles.
