Biodegradable Parade Throwables

In collaboration with local non-profit Grounds Krewe, Rex is bringing sustainability to the forefront of this year’s parade by offering eco-friendly, locally sourced throws. Designed to reduce waste and environmental impact, these unique giveaways provide parade-goers with memorable and meaningful keepsakes.

A limited number of specialty throws will be tossed from Rex floats, including herb and flower starter kits, parade bubble kits, and glitter kits—each designed with sustainability in mind.

Beyond these exclusive items, Grounds Krewe has also crafted a selection of locally produced gifts for the parade. Among them are mini burlap bags filled with locally roasted coffee beans, a lemon sugar hand scrub handcrafted by a small business in Raceland, and a durable tote bag woven from sustainable jute fibers—perfect for carrying these thoughtful throws.
