It is often said that when people pass on they are headed to a better place, the organization Better Place Forest takes this saying literally with its new take on cemeteries by turning them into repurposed forests. The idea offers a much more welcoming, friendly and positive environment for consumers to visit as well as providing more functional green space in urban areas.

Better Place Forest aims to transform graveyards into woodland lots. The forests offer a much more sustainable way to repurpose remains by naturally compositing them in the woodland setting. Consumers are invited to see their former friends, loved ones and relatives in the green space that offers areas for patrons to walk through without feeling the heavy gloom of a more traditional cemetery.
