Care-Based Hospitality Initiatives

Forest Essentials, a well-known brand from India selling Ayurvedic skincare, has officially partnered with Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) to promote sustainable practices across its hotel chains. Under this agreement, both companies will work to introduce refillable, biodegradable ceramic dispensers and bulk liquid amenities across all Taj locations.

Additonally, all products feature ethically sourced Ayurvedic ingredients, feature seamless traceability, and and endorse eco-conscious cultivation methods. The initiative will support the Forest Essentials supply chain, which prioritizes diversity and employing women, in addition to the local environment thanks to its 13% reduction in water use, 31% drop in electricity consumption, and significant cuts in packaging and label waste.
